OK, I lied… Public Speaking is not easy, well not for me, and I’m guessing, not for you. So what about those speaking superstars who make it look so easy? They walk on totally relaxed, they know when to pause, when to lower their voice, when to make that dramatic gesture. Naturals, they were obviously born with the gift… maybe, maybe not.
Think about it… possibly the best known Public Speaker in history, Winston Churchill, had studied all the worlds great orators. He wrote out his speeches word for word, he practised gestures and pauses, he even planted people in the audience to allow him to use some of his “adlibs”. With that sort of commitment how good would you be?

I can’t promise to turn you into another Winston Churchill, you would have to gain a few pounds to do that, but I can promise to provide you with all the information you need to turn yourself into a first class speaker. And that’s what this site is all about.
At the same time as reading my articles you need to think about getting some practice in front of a real audience… sorry to mention real audience so early on, but nothing beats those nerves like regular practice. The best way to get practice is by joining a Speakers Club and don’t worry, I’ll be going on a lot about Speakers Clubs in some of the articles.
Don’t try and rush things, take it steady and if you need support visit this site and leave me a message.
No secrets, no shortcuts, just knowledge, practice and a little support… an unbeatable combination.
